A new farmers' market

Despite the local councils lack of coverage (no mention of it here) , Tunbridge Wells now has a new farmers' market. The current one mentioned on the council web site is on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, outside the Town Hall and library, whilst the new one is the first and third Saturdays (I think - information is scarce) in the Pantiles.
They had a few teething problems; initially they were working with borrowed tables and couldn't always get them on the days they wanted, so the dates slipped and slithered to start with but they seem to have stabilised now. Also the first few weeks were a bit thin as suppliers weren't able to switch as quickly as they might have liked. The last time I went, a week ago, it was looking a lot better.
Correction: the local council do mention it on their website here. It's just not linked to the rest of the sites information about the market.

Yes another new farmers market location. I think this one is much better than the 'squeeze it in the loading bay ' by the Town Hall with no parking and no toilets...

In Calverly Road (the pedestrian bit) would be a much better location I feel. Coffee shops, toilets, parking, trolleys and foot traffic galore... No need to remember the date as it would be in your face and more relaxed.

Having been spoiled by the Bastile market in Paris....

I'm not so sure about the pedestrianised Calverly Road bit as I think the emphasis on the town centre is already too focussed around that part and more attention needs to be given to the other parts of town, such as the Pantiles, etc.
